TCASN equips the educators, advisors, and administrators who shape the postsecondary pathways of Tennessee students. Our professional development is designed to build practical knowledge and skills — centered around student development, equity, and institutional effectiveness.
The College Access Project (CAP)
TCASN has partnered with the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning and Innovation at Lipscomb University since 2012 to build the capacity of school counselors and college access professionals. CAP provides counselors with practical tools and frameworks to guide students through college planning, financial aid, and the transition to postsecondary education.
Preparing Adults for the Transition to Higher Education (PATH)
PATH was developed in partnership with the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning and Innovation at Lipscomb University and provides professional development for adult education professionals working with learners who are transitioning to higher education. PATH equips instructors with strategies to build college readiness in adult learners.
